Today Ubisoft held the world premiere for their new game, Watch Dogs 2.
The game is a continuation of the previous installment Watch Dogs, but follows a brand new character in a brand new city. You are now in San Francisco and are associated with the hacking group Dedsec. You can watch the premiere announcement below.
Within the announcement comes a lot of the new updates including a focus on melee combat. The driving has also been changed from the previous game, and the main character now has a much more intuitive park-our system.
Also new to Watch Dogs 2, is the additional hacking capabilities. The main character now has both an RC car and a Drone with their own individual customization and abilities for hacking. There has also been some extensive upgrades to the hacking options for the player, including the ability to remote control most or all vehicles in the game as well as other electronics.

Watch Dogs 2 is listed for a release date of November 15, 2016. The game will launch with 3 editions:
- Standard Edition – $59.99 – base game + pre-order bonuses
- Deluxe Edition – $69.99 – base game + pre-order bonuses + exclusive customization options
- Gold Edition – $99.99 – base game + pre-order bonuses + exclusive customization + season pass
