As of today Call of Duty fans are getting pumped for the next iteration of Infinity Ward’s lineup: Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
The game features a futuristic setting in which players take on the role of a supposed captain leading his team to defend against an unsanctioned attack. Overall, we’re gonna be shooting a lot of people.
With the announcement comes a trailer featuring a large montage of cinematic action and hints at gameplay. Developers stated today during their stream that the game will take place on Earth, in space, and on various planets within our solar system. The game is made to feel real in a sense that this could be a highly plausible future. You can check out all of this in the trailer below:
In case you missed the tidbit at the end of the trailer, Infinite Warfare will also be available in multiple Legacy Editions where it will include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered with 10 multiplayer maps. This is great news for many as the original Modern Warfare is considered to be one the best Call of Duty games ever, if not THE best.
Also announced today was that multiplayer will continue to include that “special” formula that makes a Call of Duty game. On top of that Infinity Ward will be doing it’s first ever cooperative Call of Duty Zombies game mode, which should be interesting coming from their form Extinction game mode in Call of Duty Ghosts.
