This week will be a very exciting week for gamers everywhere, especially those whom are a fan of first person shooters.

Today, Call of Duty hosted it’s announcement stream for their newest entry in the series: Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. The game was announced featuring new sci-fi style gameplay and combat familiar to the series as we know it. There will also be a legacy edition version of the game which will also feature a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with 10 original multiplayer maps. The trailer can be seen below.

The competitor to Call of Duty this week is a big Battlefield reveal coming this Friday. Many fans received an email last week announcing a stream hosting “the future of Battlefield.” Many fans are hoping for Battlefield 5 which has been anticipated after the mixed reviews of Battlefield 4.

Shooter fans of all types are getting some very good news as we quickly approach E3, where we hope to see lots of gameplay and more information on both titles.
